Since the sketching festival I have started using color again, and I switch back and forth between my left and right hand. It has been very refreshing, and it is amazing how much your normal hand has learned in good and baf ways. I find my left hand to be very skilled but very much repeating the same things, where as my right hand  which is very untrained as a tool responds very sluggishly to my mental commands, making an approximation of what my eye saw and mind translated. It is wonderful as my mind needs to react differently to the marks made in order to continue to compose.
